Planning a vacation for just your immediate family can be overwhelming, let alone throwing in grandparents and other extended family members. We have done many multigenerational trips due to the benefits for our whole family. Grandparents get to have new experiences with their grandkids, and grandchildren get memories that they will always remember. We have many fantastic multigenerational trips, but there are some drawbacks that, if not prepared for, can put a huge damper on the whole trip.

As a family, we have been to Thailand numerous times, but every time we would leave I felt like we had missed something. Every trip was great, and we had visited every historic site and interesting attraction on our list and yet I still felt like something was missing. We always try to have an authentic experience wherever we go and I felt like we just weren’t completely achieving that when visiting Thailand.

As a homeschool mom of two kids, I definitely have my hands full. It was really easy to cover all subjects when they were younger, but as they get older I find that I could use some help. Math became a touchy subject and the hardest one in our day.

I love bringing my favorite flavors and recipes from around the world back home with me and anytime I can make an international dish at home it makes me happy. So when I tried to make Pho I knew it would be amazing and I couldn't wait to see what my family thought. The flavors of Pho are just amazing and it's a dish you will never forget. While it does require a few more ingredients than other dishes it is well worth it and you'll be so thrilled to taste this amazing dish straight from your kitchen!

As the new school year approaches I know there are many parents thinking about how well their kids will do this year. We all have those concerns. It’s natural as parents to worry about our kids being behind or maybe that the summer made them a bit rusty with certain subjects. Reading is always a big one for our family and while we homeschool we do take breaks during the summer and I always worry about their reading proficiency.
