We recently took our kids on their first trip to New York City. My husband and I had been several times already, but we felt it was time for them to see what a big city is like. I also wanted to take this opportunity to see NYC through their eyes, seeing what the Big City is like for a kid experiencing it for the first time.

There are few events that I would recommend for anyone of any age and interests, but there is one that I believe will have a positive effect on anyone that attends. Let me first tell you that I myself almost didn’t make it to this event and I was hesitant in even going. I bought my tickets but soon started to question whether I wanted to drive all the way out to the desert with two kids in tow. It seemed like a lot of work by myself and my husband was sick. Looking back I can’t believe I had to talk myself into going. I have been to many different festivals, concerts and events, but none as spectacular as this one and none that I would recommend for everyone.

When most travelers start planning their trip to England they might gravitate to London. While London has plenty to offer, it would be a shame to start and end your England trip there. With so much to see and do just a couple hours right outside of London, you have to make time in your itinerary for places like Oxford.

It has always been a huge bucket list item for our family to see Stonehenge, so we knew on our last trip to England that we wanted that destination to be a priority.
