“Travel with kids”, sometimes the very words can make a parent panic. It can be hard enough to fly with one or two people, but throw a kid into the mix, and things get complicated. Well… that’s my life. We travel constantly with our two kids in tow. While I feel they are well-behaved kids and I love traveling with them, they inevitably complicate some parts of travel. I am always making sure they are fed, happy, and comfortable. This isn’t always easy, and I am always on the lookout for tools that can help me do the job.

As a family we are always on the lookout for new and fun activities for our kids to experience, but on our recent trip to Johor we found a place that our kids will never forget: The Angry Birds Activity Park. For me, location is everything when I travel, for most of our travels we don’t have a car so we always want to be as close to all the attractions and must see areas as much as possible. So when we went to Johor Bahru the Amari was an obvious choice. It is located in the heart of Johor Bahru and is within walking distance of so many sites. Luckily you can also easily grab an Uber if you want to explore further out.

We recently visited Johor Malaysia for a great family vacation and we wanted to include as many kid friendly activities as possible. With this in mind, we knew we had to go to LEGOLAND Malaysia! LEGOLAND Malaysia is the full LEGO experience with a hotel, water park, and theme park. Every part of the property is really easy to access and I highly recommend staying at the hotel since you can be right at the water or theme park in less than two minutes.

While the whole LEGOLAND Malaysia experience is super fun and exciting for adults it’s something kids will always remember and cherish.

Fall is by far my favorite season; my husband calls me the Goldilocks of seasons because I can find something wrong with every season except fall. The air is crisp, the colors are beautiful and it’s the perfect time for a family road trip! As with any time you stick kiddos in a car though it’s always best to be prepared especially for long rides.
