Prevent Learning Loss with Carson-Dellosa Summer Learning Activities!

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Carson-Dellosa. I reviewed the free content on their website to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

With summer in full swing, I am already hearing the classic “Mom I’m bored!” between that and my concern of them forgetting all they have learned throughout the year - I knew I had to start incorporating some fun learning activities into our summer. Learning loss just means all that time spent practicing was a waste for both your child and their teacher.

I was recently introduced to the Carson-Dellosa Summer Learning Activities website and found tons of great activities to help my kids stay sharp and on target through the summer. They have over 900 printable and reproducible activities!

A recent  survey conducted by Carson-Dellosa, shows that 84% of teachers say students forget or "lose" some skills, knowledge or grade-level equivalency during the summer. I don’t doubt this at all since I can recall from my own school years, being really hazy on certain subjects after the long summer break.

I don’t want my kids to experience the same thing, and I don’t want the school year to be more difficult for them just because they forgot a lot of the information they were taught.

Just 15 minutes a day with the Carson-Dellosa Summer Learning Activities website can help stop summer learning loss and help my kids have a better school year.

Right away my kids started diving into learning worksheets, activities, and games. My kids loved the interactive games. My 5 year old really loved all the alien games and my daughter loved the games with numbers and math. I was really excited to see that only after a few days she was able to move up to some of the harder levels and grades.

Now when my kids get bored during the day they know they can head over to the Carson-Dellosa Summer Learning Activities and soon they aren’t bored anymore. I love knowing that they won’t have learning loss this coming school year. Happy kids and happy mama!
