I am always trying to be as frugal as possible in most situations, and sometimes when it comes to tipping I am lost on what to do!
I only want to over tip when I feel the service was great, but what to tip when the service is average?
So when I saw this Interactive Tip Guide I thought this is so cool!!
ust head on over here, scroll down to the orange Tip Guide button at the bottom of the page, and then select a category (choose from travel, cosmetics, restaurants and more).
This guide tells you how much to tip, when to present the tip, and even has some basic tipping rules:
* Do tip pre-tax.
* Do tip at buffets.
* Do tip when using a discount or voucher like Groupon.
* Don’t tip the owner.
* Don’t tip extra when gratuity is already added on the bill.
* Don’t leave a bad tip if you plan on visiting the establishment again.
Be sure to let us know what you think! Are you an over or under tipper? I would love to know!
Thanks Hip2Save!
