Last week I spoke about my experience with a new van, but I had some readers that are more interested in an SUV to shuffle their families around. From the first glance you can see it is a great looking vehicle, first impressions are everything and the Santa Fe doesn’t disappoint with a sleek design, and a beautiful exterior. From the outside it is obvious that it has plenty of room for the whole family and cargo and yet you know you will be able to easily park it at the grocery store or anywhere else for that matter. It can seat the whole family without being big and bulky, no need to park it at the end of the parking lot. (Unless you are trying to save the beautiful paint job from rogue shopping carts.) I have driven some pretty big SUV’s before and I find myself saying “Nope won’t fit in that spot, nope not going to try that one” as I drive down the aisles.
The inside of the Santa Fe is just as beautiful, with a panoramic sunroof, heated seats, huge cargo space and so much more, and I couldn’t get enough of the extra bells and whistles that made my days easier. The one feature I really got attached to was the hands-free smart liftgate, what mom hasn’t found herself standing outside of their vehicle, hands overflowing with groceries, kids or pretty much everything but the kitchen sink desperately needing to open the car? And at that moment you realize that unless you sprout a third arm or a stranger walks by and takes pity on you, you are not getting into the vehicle without dropping everything. That scenario will never happen to you with the Santa Fe, simply stand behind the vehicle with key in pocket and the liftgate will automatically open for you. How awesome is that?!!! I found myself using that feature a lot!

I went to Petsmart with the kiddos one day decided I didn’t need a cart and found myself in the parking lot with one arm holding a 15 pound bag of dog food and the other holding my little boy that scraped his knee in the store and refused to walk anymore on his own. Now normally I would be standing outside of my car with a perplexed look on my face trying to juggle everything and somehow managing to unlock the doors, but all I had to do is stand there next to the Santa Fe and it opened for me! That is just the tip of the iceberg with the Santa Fe Sport, it has so many features that will help you get everything you need to get done during the day.
