Strolling through Central Park definitely tops my list of must-do activities while in NYC, but this last trip I got an even better treat! I was able to do a picnic in the park thanks to Perfect Picnic. There’s nothing better than sitting in one of your favorite places in the city and enjoying some amazingly fresh food.
As soon as I came across Perfect Picnic I knew it was something special and I had to do it while I was in NYC. There are a lot of different and cool eating experiences in NYC, but you just can’t beat eating local food all packed up just for you while sitting in the park.
We went to Central Park on a beautiful summer evening to watch a movie in the park and new this would be a perfect time to have a picnic as well. As we sat in the grass and opened up our adorable picnic bags we started to notice a theme. Everything was fresh and local. Does it get much better than that?
Any chance they can Perfect Picnic seeks out local farms and purveyors to bring you the best and most fresh food you have ever had at a picnic.
We had fresh goat cheese, baguettinis, Fresh Goat Cheese with Fig Jam, artisanal cheese, olives and more! As Perfect Picnic states on their site this really was an experience not just a meal.
Our picnic bags even had us covered further with utensils, napkins, and even a cute Frisbee (of course you need a frisbee for the park!) Its little touches like that, that make it apparent to me this is a company that cares about its customers and the experience they have.
Whether you are a tourist or a full time New Yorker you have to try Perfect Picnic! It will be an experience you won’t soon forget.
