There is a huge difference in planning a friends Vegas getaway in your 20’s, and doing the same in your 30’s. My sister in-law learned this the hard way when she (in her mid-30’s) went on a weekend trip with a bunch of her 20 year old friends. By the end of the weekend she just wanted to crawl in a hole. Now don’t get me wrong, us 30 year olds can still party; but we need some downtime too, and if you can throw in some relaxation, it makes for a perfect getaway.
That’s why, when I recently planned a friend’s weekend in Vegas, we headed off strip to The Green Valley Ranch. Not only does Green Valley Ranch have plenty of fun, but also if you’ve partied a little too much you can recover with all of their amazing spa and relaxation services.
Green Valley Ranch has one of the best spas that I have experienced on or off the strip. You can choose to book one of their many fantastic services, like the Nirvana Stress Relief Massage, or as a hotel guest, you can use the spa facilities like the sauna, steam room, or spa soaker at your leisure.
A friend’s weekend wouldn’t be complete without going out and having a little bit fun; Green Valley offers the perfect way to make sure you are looking your best! Before heading out for a night of fun, my friend and I headed over to the Green Valley Ranch Salon for mani/pedis. The Salon at Green Valley is fantastic; the professionals at the salon know how to make your salon day productive and super relaxing.
Our mani/pedis came with a wonderful foot massage and our chairs also had massagers to make us even more comfortable. By the end, we didn’t even want to leave. The salon also can make your hair look gorgeous for you night out, so be sure to book a hair appointment as well. After our salon experience, we headed over to the spa to get ready. The spa comes complete with all the necessities to get all made up! Instead of trying to get ready in your hotel room, which once you throw several girls into a bathroom is almost impossible to actually get ready in. Instead, you can get ready in a peaceful environment with many mirrors and plenty of space.
The spa provides hair straighteners, blow dryers, mouthwash, makeup remover, lotion, razors, and more! We’re talking everything you would need! Once you are ready, you will not only feel fabulous, but relaxed as well.
Green Valley Ranch has so much fun right on property you may not end up leaving! You will find concerts, movies, gaming, and some of the best restaurants around! One of our favorite restaurants, Pizza Rock, is at Green Valley. This is a fantastic eating place for friends to sit down, have some great pizza and drinks. I can’t get enough of the atmosphere here! It just screams, “Come in, sit down, and chill!”
The room options at Green Valley are great for hanging out with friends. If you are looking to party, I would highly recommend the Villa Suites. These fabulous private villas come with all the fun you would need right in your own suite. These two bedroom villas feature your own private pool, BBQ grill, wet bar, pool table, and more! All you could need for the perfect friends getaway.
We stayed in a deluxe double queen, which was beautifully appointed and had plenty of space to relax. I love the luxurious feel of the rooms at Green Valley; they never disappoint.
By far one of my favorite things to do at Green Valley Ranch is to chill by the pool. Green Valley has an amazing pool; one that you could sit at all day long. They also have food and drinks by the pool, which makes it even easier to just spend the whole day there. This ended up being one of our friend’s favorite activities as well.
By the end of our weekend, we not only had a ton of fun memories, but also felt incredibly recharged for the trip back home. It was very much the quintessential 30 something friend getaway. Head over here to start planning your trip to Green Valley Ranch!
