I got this for hubby for Christmas not ever hearing about these before. I thought it was different and that he might like it for that. We both LOVE this thing! What a wonderful, unstressful, peaceful way to start the day! We cannot imagine going back to alarms ever again! Worth every dime to start each day feeling good!
I have been wanting one of these alarms for years now and just now finally had enough extra money to splurge. It’s fantastic. I use the dusk feature every night before going to bed. It’s great for stimulating your body’s own melatonin production to make you sleepy. I always fall asleep with a book, crossword or notebook in my hands but hate having to move out of my comfortable, juuuuust about to fall alseep position, to turn out the light. I usually set the dusk light for 20 minutes and am usually asleep before the light’s fully turned off. ALSO – a little embarrassing to admit but I sometimes creep myself out watching horror movies before bed and then don’t want to turn out the light- but my sleep is never good under a bright light. This way the light is on when I fall asleep and off before I know any better.
